As excitement builds for the 6th Southern African Regional Students and Youth Conference (SARSYC VI) scheduled in Windhoek, Namibia, one of the biggest questions prospective delegates are asking is: Which registration package should I choose? Whether you are a student, youth advocate, researcher, policymaker, or development partner, SARSYC VI offers flexible packages designed to ensure everyone has an opportunity to be part of this transformative regional gathering.
Early Bird registration closes 15 July 2026 with late registration starting on the 16th to the 31st of July 2026, so don't wait too long. Secure your package, plan your trip, and get ready to join hundreds of young changemakers as we continue #DrivingRegionalSolidarity at SARSYC VI and shaping the future of health and education in Southern Africa.
Getting there is easier than you think! For international delegates the registration packages are USD$500.00 (Early Bird) and USD$600.00 (Late registration). This package awards delegates 4nights accommodation (from 4 -7 August 2026) at Mövenpick and Mecure Hotel in Windhoek – about 4.2km (approximately 15 minutes’ drive) to the conference venue – the Namibia Institute of Public Administration and Management (NIPAM). In addition, delegates will also receive meals for the duration of their stay and conferencing; conference IEC materials; and shuttle services to (7am – 8.30am) and from (5pm – 6.30pm) NIPAM.
International students and youth (below the age of 35) have a Youth Discount Registration Package - USD$450.00 (Early Bird) and USD$500 (Late registration). The package includes shared accommodation for 4nights (from 4 – 7 August 2026) at Mövenpick and Mecure Hotel as well as their meals; conference IEC materials; and shuttle services.
If you prefer to arrange your own stay and transportation? Consider treating yourself to Windhoek’s best hospitality and choose the Half Package USD$300 (Early Bird) and USD$350 (Late registration). The half package awards delegates conference meals and IEC materials while leaving room for delegates to organize their stay in a place of their choice. Some of the places near the conference venue includes:
• Arebbusch Travel Lodge (2.3km from NIPAM – 10minutes peak hour driving time)
• Windhoek Country Club Resort (3.9km from NIPAM – 12minutes peak hour driving time)
• The Weinberg Hotel (4.7km from NIPAM – 15minutes peak hour driving time)
• Avani Windhoek Hotel and Casino (5.4km from NIPAM – 20 minutes peak hour driving time)
• Hilton Windhoek (5.5km from NIPAM – 20minutes peak hour driving time)
Young people who also prefer to arrange their own stay and transportation can opt for the Youth Discount Half Package - USD$200 (Early Bird) and USD$250 (late registration). Similarly, Students and Youth learning and living in Windhoek, Namibia can choose the Youth Discount Half Package as well. The package includes full conference access, meals and IEC materials excluding accommodation and shuttle services.
While we believe delegates should attend all the conference major platforms from the 5th to the 7th of August 2026 – The 3rd edition of the Regional Research Indaba; the Regional Mugota/Ixhiba Young Men’s Forum; the Regional Web for Life Network for Girls and Young Women Symposium; Alliance Building Labs; the Students Talks and Engagement with Policymakers and Partners (STEPP); the High-Level Engagement platform; and Culture Night; we understand some may have other advocacy commitments aligning with the SARSYC VI dates or passion for specific platforms. Therefore, for those interested to attend the conference on a specific day, worry not! the Day Pass is available at USD$100 (Early Bird) and USD$120 (Late registration).
