Biography

Foster Mafiala is a Youth Advocate and development practitioner from Malawi with over eight years of experience in youth development, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), and policy engagement. He currently serves as a Youth Officer with SRHR Africa Trust (SAT) Malawi, supporting youth-led initiatives that advance access to SRHR information and services. Foster holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication and is pursuing a Master's degree in Gender and Development. He has contributed to several regional and global platforms, including the International Conference on Population & Development 30, Women Deliver 2023, and the International Conference on Family Planning (ICFP+25). His work focuses on meaningful youth engagement, comprehensive sexuality education, policy implementation and evidence-informed programming across Southern Africa.
