Biography

Dr Xaba is currently a lecturer at the Department of Sociology and Social Work at the National University of Lesotho. He teaches Sociology courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels and supervises students at these levels. Xaba is also affiliated with the Africa Centre for Inclusive Health Management at Stellenbosch. A trained Sociologist, Xaba’s research is on environmentalism, land reform, climate change, community health, social grants, youth mental health, and expropriation, among other areas. Xaba’s current research projects, conducted with his students, focus on the cannabis sector, waste management, and traditional practices in Lesotho.
