Vincent Makuluni Thom

Biography

Vincent Makuluni Thom is a seasoned youth advocate, social worker, and development leader from Malawi, serving as the Executive Director of the Phalombe Youth Arms Organisation (PYAO) and founder of the Phalombe Producers and Marketing Cooperative. With over 13 years of experience in youth development, social accountability, and gender justice, he has led transformative initiatives promoting inclusive youth participation in governance and policymaking. Vincent has served on the Board of the National Youth Council of Malawi, the National Youth Policy Reference Board, the Youth Core Advisory Panel for the National Planning Commission, and the Voluntary National Review (VNR) Youth Subcommittee. He remains committed to amplifying youth voices and advancing inclusive development.
